New Forest Run Sunday 16th Sept. 14 Bikes joined us which, together will pillions, made a total of 18. We also had quite a few new faces, who are always most welcome. A bright start always makes the forest look great. We had to contend with 100’s of cyclists on the first part of the ride. We stopped at Sandy Balls for coffee, lunch at Compton Abbus Airport and tea in Burley.
Apart from a little light mist rain during the afternoon it was ideal biking weather. The layoff worked well, and thanks to Michel & Jan (tail end Charlie). The route we use is a regular one because it includes some fine scenery, and visits some great out of the way villages.
