NEW YEAR’S DAY RUN TO THE MAINLAND 8 Bikes joined us for the first run of 2008, 3 had pillions making a total of 11 members. We were lucky with the weather, temperature between 8 and 10 degrees, a reasonably clear day which remained dry. This was a new route which will be repeated in the future. The route started above Portsmouth overlooking the Solent and included part of the Meon Valley, Twyford, Michelmersh, Godshill (Sandy Balls), the New Forest, Burley and the Ornamental Drive. Amazing countryside and all within 20 miles of Portsmouth. Unfortunately the bikes got plastered, still, it’s par for the course. We wish all members a great, and above all, a safe 2008:- Paul and Angie

The age group 41-81 is flexible . Safe sensible riding is what is important, so if you are younger - please join us
