at Lake turn left - follow on through Brading - TraLights turn right to Nettlestone and follow on to Appley - MinRabt Turn left to Westridge - Tesco RaBt third exit to The Garden Center
Six prospective squids arrived for Sundays meet at Godshill, preparing to become damp squids in the varying cold and wet weather! The 6 riders, on the first meet of the new year, struck off on wet roads, (but no rain), with a few potholes and gravel to dodge, weaving our way through to Blackwater, Arreton, Lake, Sandown and then de-toured to the sea front to avoid a flooded Morton common. From there, around Bembridge airport got buzzed by a low flying aircraft, onto Nettlestone and arrived safely at Busy Bee for tea. The weather held off, but the bikes were in a state from wet roads. Well, they don't stay shiny for ever! Thanks to Paul Turner, tail end Charlie. I took on lead rider this month as Paul was recovering from cold/flu. Hope he gets well soon.
